I think we must have rung the bell once in our lifetime. It is a fun part for children. Have you ever think why the bell is placed at the entrance why not on any other place?
The bell is not made up of normal metal. It is a mixture of various metal like lead nickel, chromium, zinc, cadmium, and manganese. A very unique proportion is mixed together so that it produces a high pitch sound that can be heard far and wide. It keeps the evil force away. Sound clean and concentrate our mind so that we can full fill the purpose of entering the temple.

Pronouncing om(ॐ)

  • OM is a very powerful word in itself.
  • OM(aum) is the word that we can say without using the tongue.
  • And first letter i.e, "a" is the basic sound i.e use in every letter .(ex: b= b+aa)
  • The frequency of Om is exactly the same as the frequency of the earth’s rotation around its own axis. So, in some sense, the earth is saying "Om"

  • The scientific reason behind pronouncing this word is that when we start we inhale maximum oxygen and slowly we realize, which provides oxygen to our mind and hence our mind gets calm and concentrated. By practicing these we can also sharp our mind and its remembering power.
  • One more importance of chanting ॐ is that when we chant, Vibration occurs in our navel. The navel is the center of the body and the whole nervous system, by vibration, we activate the throat chakra.
