Burj Khalifa, world tallest structure located in Dubai hold 14+ record in its name which itself is a record. here I am sharing some really fantastic facts about Burj khalif that you will really enjoy and amaze to hear this
- When Burj Khalifa was made in 2010 its name was kept Burj Dubai later it was renamed in honor of the ruler of Abu Dhabi and president of UAE, Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan
- You will surprise to know that such a massive structure was constructed in just 6 years for this 12000 workers worked day and night. after groundwork was completed it took 1093 days to finish the first 100 level, which means 3 days to complete one floor, amazing.
- Burj Khalifa is 3 times as tall as Eiffel Tower and nearly twice as tall as Empire state building. from this, you can assume the height of this building.
- It is obvious that concrete requires in construction was also unmeasurable .the weight of concrete is equivalent to the weight of 1 lakh elephant and weight of aluminum used on Burj Khalifa is equivalent to that of five a380 aircraft and 55000tons of steel rebar and 22 million man-hours to complete this building
- The unique design of Burj Khalifa is the centerpiece of a new world which attracts tourists all over the world. the honor of designing this masterpiece was given to the Chicago office of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM) with Adrian Smith FAIA, RIBA, consulting design partner.
- The design of Burj Khalifa is very unique, it was inspired by HYMENOCALLIS flower. but you must be thinking how Burj Khalifa looks like a flower then seen below image. you haven't ever viewed Burj Khalifa like this.
- Burj Khalifa can be seen from 95 km away. Its neighbor Iran is also visible from its top.
- The building is so tall that one can watch two sunsets in a day. suppose you see the sunset from the ground floor and after some minute you can see the same view from the top of a building.
- Such an eminence building require 96000 liters of water and 50 MVA of electricity.this much water and electricity is required by the middle populated city, but here it is consumed by one building
- During construction, the construction site used the world's 3 world largest crane.
- Some Burj Khalifa trivia about the elevators: the building has the longest single running elevator, which is 140 floors. The Burj Khalifa elevator speed is 10 meters per second, making the elevators among the fastest in the world. The Burj Khalifa elevator time to reach the observation deck on the 124th floor is only one minute.it contains a total of 57 elevators and 8 escalators. which again is a world record
- Water which is excreted from ac of Burj Khalifa is enough to fill water in 5 swimming pools of the Olympics.
- The top floor of Burj Khalifa is at such a high altitude that the temperature at the top is 15 degrees less than the ground floor.
- Another record which Burj Khalifa has is of tallest structure ever made, tallest freestanding, tallest skyscraper, tallest skyscraper to the top of antenna, building with the most floor; 163, world highest elevator installation, worlds longest travel distance elevators, highest vertical concrete pumping, world tallest structure that included residential space, worlds highest installation of aluminum and glass facade 512, world highest night club, world highest restaurant, hight of 350, worlds highest new year display of firework ., world highest light and sound show staged on a single building
