Why Nalanda University Was Destroyed

In this wonderful and amazing blog, I am going to share with you some really mind-blowing facts, amazing facts about Nalanda University, and the reason behind its destruction.
It is said that if you want to destroy any country then just destroy the top university. The same India faced after Nalanda University was destroyed. Nalanda is made up of two words "nalam" and "da" which means one who gives knowledge. Nalanda the university was the center of knowledge in 6th century BC. It was destroyed thrice and but restore only 2 times. it was the first university which has a hostel facility in it.

University has four libraries Dharmaganja, Ratna Sagara, Ratnodadhi and Ratnaranjaka. Ratnodadhi wad nine-story high and house the most sacred manuscripts.

• Xuan Zang, Chinese Buddhist traveler
• Yijing, Chinese Buddhist traveler

Nalanda university was very famous for its library. It has a total collection of 9 million books which was destroyed by cruel assailant name Mohammad bin Bhaktiyar Khilji. He was a cynical person. He put fire on all the books and killed all the scholar monks, students, and the teachers. The Citadel of Wisdom soon became ruins

In the 6th century BC, India used to call the golden eagle, so the Muslim invaders used to come, one of them was Khilji, Turkey's king. At that time, Khilji had a session. He was pshyco and a very destructive minded person. An incident after which he destroys Nalanda university


                    It is said that once he fell sick, he was suffering from an incurable disease. He received a lot of treatment from his court doctors but was unable to recover. Then someone suggests him to recruit Rahul Sri Bhadra, he's the head of the ayurvedic department of Nalanda university. He's kind and professional. He is the only person who can treat him. You will definitely get well (advice by one of the courtiers.)

                      He had great faith in his doctors. He was not able to believe that the physician of India had more knowledge or could be more capable than his doctors, but when his condition became worse than to save his life, he sent an invitation to ask  Rahul Sri Bhadra for his treatment when he arrived he put the condition before him that he would not take any Ayurvedic medicine, so he has to cure without medicine and if he failed in his treatment, he would kill him. Rahul Sri Bhadra got to think. He gave him the Quran and asked him to read a particular number of pages every day. when he started reading, he began to recover.

                     

 Actually, Rahul Sri Bhadra placed the Ayurvedic solution on each page. every time medicine gets into his mouth when he reads the book by wetting his finger in saliva, he was cured soon.
                       After getting well, he found that the doctors at Nalanda University have more knowledge than his court physician, he was not able to believe this fact. He thought if this university left then, it will do wonders. In jealousy, he decided to destroy the university. He destroys books, kill monks and students.


Shortly after devastation, Bihar, the center of knowledge, degrades his glory. Today, we can see the state of Bihar, which ranks the worst among education and also suffers from poverty. Until today, Bihar has not been able to recover.

 

Today, India spends twice as much money on security as on education. None of the government understands that when quality education will be provided, people will be able to create jobs themselves, homelessness, unemployment and crime, everything will come to an end and India will become a happy place to live. Take Japan as an example, which has one of the best education systems in the world. The density of population is the highest in the world. It is capable of managing the population there is no unemployment, there is no poverty problem and all of this crime rate is very low because of their quality education. I hope that the government would focus on education rather than politics.
